Introduction

Institute Of Nuclear Medicine & Oncology (INMOL) was established by Pakistan Atomic Energy Commision (PAEC) in 1984. INMOL is providing diagnostics and treatment facilities to cancer patients.

Patients Welfare Society (PWS) was established to help poor cancer patients. Our mission is to help the cancer patients medically, socially, economically and psychologically.

PWS is registered by Social Welfare Department ,Govt of Punjab. PWS INMOL relies on the generosity of donors.Join Us to fight Against Cancer.

What we do?

Today world is both very rich and very poor and medical treatments particularly of cancer disease is almost impossible for poor part of nation. Life is blessing of GOD and we all should contribute to save this blessing.

We have to reduce death rate of poor cancer patients by providing them appropriate medical facilities. It can be difficult for someone diagnosed with cancer to navigate the various financial resources available to him or her.

Even with government-funded insurance plans most cancer patients still need additional financial assistance. PWS is making great efforts in this regard.Resources are scarce so we must use them where they can have the largest effect.

Services

Free Medicines

Chemotherapy And Treatment Medicines For Cancer Are Very Expensive And Hardly Few Patients Can Afford It. Therefore, PWSI Facilitates Deserving Patients With Free Medicines.

Pain Killer Medicines

Cancer Patients suffer from acute pains which make their lives miserable. Their family members cannot afford to pay for the pain killer medicines due to poor financial position.

INMOL House

INMOL have facility of 70 beds for indoor patients. However, the number of patients who needs indoor facility is much high, i.e. 100-200. Most of them have no place to stay overnight.

Leukemia Treatment

A new ward for leukemia patients has been added in the INMOL facilities. The ward is now fully operated. The society arranges adoption of individual patients by donors who take full responsibility of their treatment.

Recreation Room

Two recreation rooms have been managed. One of them is for women and children made in 1999. The other one was arranged exclusively for men in 2002.

Rehabilitation Unit

Poor cancer patients and their attendants who have talents for sewing, cutting and embroidery etc, work in this unit and generate their own income. A teacher is there to help and guide them.
